Software License

License agreement

This agreement governs ResultPond software, browser components, and related code distributed with this EULA. It supplements the Website Terms and Privacy Notice. Installing or using the software means you accept this agreement.

Permission to use

While you comply with this EULA, ResultPond gives you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and non-sublicensable license to run the object-code version of the software for its intended personal purpose.

License boundaries

Unless applicable law gives you a right that cannot be limited, you may not:

• sell, rent, sublicense, redistribute, or commercially exploit the software;
• reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or seek its source code;
• alter or remove legal, attribution, or ownership notices;
• circumvent technical restrictions or security features; or
• modify the software or create derivative works.

Search functionality

The software may display or configure a search page and connect with third-party search, autocomplete, analytics, or hosting providers. ResultPond does not own or control those providers' content, policies, or availability.

Changes and updates

Updates may be delivered to protect security, maintain compatibility, correct defects, or change features. Where the device or distribution channel supports it, an update may be applied automatically. This EULA governs an update unless separate terms accompany it.

Ownership

The software is licensed rather than sold. ResultPond and its licensors keep all title and intellectual-property rights, including rights not expressly granted here.

Term and termination

The license continues until you or ResultPond ends it. You can end it by uninstalling and stopping use. It ends automatically after a material breach. On termination, stop using the software and remove copies under your control.

Warranty disclaimer

To the fullest extent allowed by law, the software is supplied “as is” and “as available,” without warranties. ResultPond does not promise continuous operation, compatibility, security against every threat, or accurate third-party search results.

Liability limit

To the fullest extent allowed by law, ResultPond and its operators, affiliates, licensors, and providers will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from the software or connected third-party services.

Changes to this agreement

We may update this EULA. The effective date identifies the current edition. If you do not accept a material revision, uninstall and stop using the software.
